Teaching and Learning Centre |
The origins of the eLene group can be traced back to the report “Virtual models of European Universities” carried out in 2003 by the Danish consultancy firm PLS Ramboll for the European Commission, DG Education and Culture, available on www.elearningeuropa.info.
These institutions, the majority of whom were case studies for the above report, have since submitted three successful proposals to the EU under the Virtual Campus action line of the eLearning programme.
The projects that you can discover by clicking on the above links are the
result of their efforts in exploring some of the numerous issues relating to eLearning in higher education, in the attempt to prepare universities for the ne(x)t generation of students.
The eLene Teaching and Learning service Centre currently contains all the outputs from the first project eLene-TT. It will soon welcome the products and results of eLene-EE and be extended to provide the European eLearning community with a variety of Teaching and Learning services.
